Outfit of The Day: January 19, 2018

Hello and happy Tuesday!

Today I have another outfit of the day or OOTD to show you! Just like last time this one is also going to be a gym version attire.

So to begin I decided to curl my hair for the pictures, but as soon as I get to the gym these curls are sadly going up into a bun.

I am wearing this red pull over. Its thin enough to workout in and it sort of has that distressed look which I like.

I am wearing some black tights from the brand BCG, which if you had read my previous OOTD post you would know its one of my favorite brands because of how affordable it is.

I am also wearing my favorite Nike shoes these have the rose gold/metallicy Nike symbol, which I think are so cute!

I also had my LG wireless headphones, but I did not get a picture of them. I absolutely love listening to music when I workout and I am not a huge fan of headphones with wires hence my wireless headphones. Lol

Lastly I am wearing my Fitbit Alta, which I love. I am obsessed with counting my steps and seeing how many steps I can put in a day!

Well I hope you enjoyed reading my OOTD and I hope you make the rest of this week a great one!

What I got for Christmas!

Hello and happy Monday!

I hope everyone started the week on a good note!

I know Christmas is over and has been over for about two weeks already, but I wanted to show you what I got for Christmas!

So let’s begin!

I am a huge Starbucks fan. I practically spend my whole time there, whether I am in school or during the break. Most of my family knows this by now, so I received a Starbucks gift card from one of my aunts, which I already used.

IMG_3085.jpg

I received this cute Christmas wine glass from one of my cousins. I put it to use once I received it. Lol.

IMG_3225.jpg

I also received this awesome ColourPop Palette, which I plan on doing a review on! Fingers crossed!

IMG_3215.jpg

I received this cute Nautica pajama set from my boyfriend’s mom. It’s a light baby blue color with tons of snowflakes. Perfect for the winter! They are so comfy and I’m a huge fan of pajamas sets!

IMG_3214.jpg

I also received one of my favorite body sprays from my little sister! Its the perfect size since I usually like carrying body mists in my purse for emergencies! It was a gift bundle which came with a body spray and a hand cream!

From my parents I received a two hundred dollar gift card from Academy Sports + Outdoors. With that I was able to purchase a good amount of clothes! I mostly bought workout clothes, because I was in need of new gym attire.

IMG_3222.jpg

I love the brand BCG, because their clothes is super affordable and comfortable. I got this cute BCG gray workout shirt. I believe I purchased this item for $12.99. I also purchased some black tights, which I actually wrote about in my last OOTD blog post. The last BCG item I purchased was this gray sports bra. I have never purchased their bras before and I was so surprised when I first used it. Definitely my new favorite bra.

I am a huge shoe lover of course, so I had to purchase some shoes! I was able to purchase two gorgeous pairs of shoes!

IMG_3218 2.jpg

I purchased these light gray with the metallic Nike symbol. I had actually seen these shoes when I was out of town, but they sadly did not have my shoe size. I had to wait till I got home to purchase them.

IMG_3162.jpg

Last but not least these gorgeous shoes! I had been wanting some white converse for the longest time. I was always so afraid of purchasing white shoes, because of the fact that they get dirty easily. I finally decided to go for it and bought them, and I am so glad I purchased them! They are my favorite shoes at the moment.

So that is it for what I got for Christmas. I hope you enjoyed reading, and like always, make this week a great week!

Christmas Shopping Haul

Hello and happy Thursday! I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays!

Before Christmas I did a little shopping for some presents! I am definitely going to shop ahead of time next year. All the stores were crazy packed!

IMG_3019.jpg

The first store I went to was Victoria’s Secret and that store was excessively packed. I was quite amazed how they didn’t run out of stuff. I was especially amazed at the workers there, and their ability to deal with so many people.

IMG_3015.jpg

This year I wanted to get my aunts and older female cousins gifts. I never get them anything, so I wanted to do something nice for them. At Victoria’s Secret they had a fragrance/mist special. Usually their mists are about $18 each and I was able to get them for $6 each! I purchased not one, not two, but ten of their fragrances for only $60. At regular price I would’ve paid $180 for all ten fragrances, which is ridiculously expensive for me! Thank goodness for their promotions!

I also purchased two of their travel size fragrances for the price of one! All in all, I saved a total of $195, which is kind of a bargain if you ask me!

IMG_3020.jpg

Since I did spend over $75 I was lucky enough to receive a free tote! The retail price for this cute tote was $58, and I was able to get it for free! I also think the tote would make a cute christmas gift.

The next store I went to was Old Navy. I haven’t been to Old Navy in the longest time, but since I had heard an awesome promotion that they were having I decided to give it a go!

I purchased a really cute long sleeve for my cousin. The retail price for the long sleeve was $14.99 and I was able to get it only for $6! I also got two items for my boyfriend. He had told me that he had been wanting an army green sweater. I was so luck to find the perfect sweater for him, especially since it was the only one left in his size. The retail price for this sweater was $30 and I was able to get it for $10! Lately he has also really been into flannels so I also got him a flannel.

All in all I saved around $51 for these three items!

I then went to the dollar tree to buy a little bit of stuff for the goodie bags that I had planned. I really love the dollar tree when it comes to holidays/birthdays because they sell awesome decorations/knick knacks for a really affordable price!

The last place I went to was Ulta! I absolutely love this store, because they have pretty much all beauty products whether they’re sold at Sephora or at a grocery store. I only got two items from this place and they were not gifts for anyone. I was actually in need of these products.

IMG_3033.jpg

I purchased the Batiste dry shampoo. This is actually the first time I purchased this item and I am hoping I will like it. I also purchased some beauty rounds. I tend to use these to apply my concealer.

That is it for my shopping haul. I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed shopping for these items! Have a great day and happy holidays!

My Recent Purchases

Hello and Happy Thursday! I hope everyone is having an awesome day today!

I recently purchased some makeup products online and I wanted to show you guys what I bought!

I usually never do online shopping, but my boyfriend was offering to buy me a couple of things so why not!

IMG_1934.jpg

I was in need of a new eye liner since my old one dried out. I have always been a huge fan of all matte products, so of course I had to get a matte eye liner!

IMG_1937.jpg

I decided to give the Nyx Matte liquid liner a try. This item was purchased for seven dollars! I have not used it yet, but I ‘m definitely planning on using it!

IMG_1940.jpg

I’m not one to but expensive mascaras mostly because I’m a firm believer that my seven dollar The Colossal mascara by Maybelline, can do the job of any high end mascara, but I decided to give this mascara a try. This mascara is They’re Real by benefit cosmetics and it is an awesome mascara for anyone who loves length in their lashes, which I mean who doesn’t?

IMG_1945.jpg

It also came with a mini mascara which I thought was pretty great considering how much beauty travel size products cost.

IMG_1952.jpg

The retail price for this product was $36 dollars and I purchased this product for $24. I hope to have a full review on this product hopefully in the near future! Fingers crossed!

IMG_1959.jpg

Last but not least, my favorite purchase! I purchased the Lancome Matter Shaker Liquid Lipstick. This product is totally new to me and I am so glad I purchased it!

IMG_1961.jpg

I got the shade 262 called Sea, Sand and Sun. It is a pinkish/nudish matte color and it’s so cute!

IMG_1967.jpg

This lipstick is a shaker, which means that in order to be able to get some of the product out you need to shake it.

IMG_1973.jpg

I purchased this item for $22 dollars, which I know is pretty pricey for a lipstick but I was very curious as to how this product worked and the color is gorgeous!

I hope you guys enjoyed reading my post on my recent purchases! I hope you have a great day and make it a good one!

Mini Thrift Store Haul!

Day 4

Before I met my boyfriend’s mom, I use to never shop at thrift stores. I’m not sure why, but now I love shopping at them!

I recently went shopping at the Goodwill, and I found some amazing things. I wanted to share my thrift store finds!

1C81B112-ABB3-4DA7-B894-F01DB8300AAA.jpg

I love anything that has to do with Nike, so after searching the cap section I was fortunate enough to find a Nike cap. It was a bit dusty, but with a good wash it is now as good as new! The original price could be anywhere from $18.00-$25.00. I purchased the cap for $1.50, which is pretty much a steal for such an awesome brand!

3251F535-8FB4-40A5-A727-463090232946.jpgThese pants are comfortable and light, which is perfect for summer weather! I’ve been obsessing over these for quite sometime now. I have been wanting to find the exact same ones, but this time in a creme color! The brand is Charter Club and the original price for these is around $60.00! I was so lucky to have purchased them for only $6.00!

My all time favorite thrift-store find was a beautiful black trench coat by New York & Co. This coat is so beautiful, and I can’t wait to use it this fall/winter! The original tag price for this coat is around $75.00! With a little looking, I ended up purchasing this beauty for only $12.00!

It’s tempting to resort to shopping for name-brand clothing at high end shops. But I highly recommend for all my readers to visit a thrift-store near you, and just take a few minutes to look around. You’d be surprised (even shocked!) at the pieces of clothing you can find, all for a fraction of the original price. So what are waiting for? Get shopping!
