Morning Skincare Routine |Spring 2018

Hello! I hope you all are having a great day today!

I have been obsessing over skincare the last couple of months, whether its products or routines, I’m all over it! I don’t know whether it has anything to do with my age, because I’ve noticed that the majority of people in their early 20s tend to start making/creating their own skincare routines. When I was in high school and even in my early college years I did not care what so ever about skincare! I would even sleep with my makeup on most of the times, which is so BAD!

Today, I am going to show you my favorite products that I have been using/obsessed with these last couple of weeks. I am always adding/removing products from my routine, but at this moment these are the current products I am in love with!

Now this is my morning skincare routine. I do have a night time skincare routine, but we will save that for another day. Lol.

I have been consistent with this routine and my skin has never looked better, so let’s begin!

Foaming Face Wash from Clarity Therapeutics

Every morning, I begin by using this foaming face wash by Clarity Therapeutics. I only use this on my face and no where near my eyes! I only use two pumps, because a little does go a long way with this product!

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes

Next, I use my favorite makeup remover wipes of all time! These are so amazing and I swear by these wipes! They are a little pricey, but what I like to do in order to not waste or spend so much money is to cut my wipes into one thirds, since I don’t need a whole makeup wipe. I mostly use these around my eyes, but I will make sure to run it through my whole face just to make sure I got all the dirt and junk off!

Neutrogena Age Shield Face Sunscreen SPF 110

I then use another Neutrogena product that I have been obsessed with (I have to thank my aunt for introducing  me to this product!). This is their Age Shield Face sunscreen with SPF 110. Now I did spend a pretty penny on this item, I am not going to lie, but a little does go a long way with this product. Not to mention the sun is known to cause wrinkles and make you look older, and if I have to pay extra to avoid that you bet your butt I will. LOL. When I apply this I make sure to completely cover my face and neck with it! Not to mention, I LOVE the way this product smells, reminds me of summer!

Aveeno’s Daily Moisturizing Lotion & Total Moisture Facial Cream from Benefit Cosmetics

I tend to get dry around my chin and mouth area, I have no idea why so I make sure to apply a little of either the Total Moisture Facial Cream form Benefit Cosmetics or Aveeno’s Daily Moisturizing Lotion.

I have been loving both, so that is why I decided to add both of these. I couldn’t choose! Lol. They both do a great job of moisturizing and hydrating my skin!

Face Toner from Clarity Therapeutics

The last item I have been loving for my face is this face toner from Clarity Therapeutics. I know toners are meant to be used right after you cleanse your skin, but this toner make a great makeup primer! I have been using this right before I apply my makeup and I just love it so much! It does a really good job of keeping my makeup on.

Lip Conditioner from MAC

Lastly, for my lips I have been using this lip conditioner from MAC. It leaves my lips feeling so nice and soft! It also gives your lips a shine, kind of like wearing lip gloss!

That is it for my morning skincare routine! I hope you enjoyed reading! I would love to know any products that you are currently using or have been obsessed with. I love trying  out new products, so let me know what items you love so I can try them out!

I would also like to say thank you for 70 subscribers/follows on my blog! I am so appreciative of every single one of you!

As always thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a great week!

Favorite Products of the Month: August

Hello!

August has come to an end so that means summer is over and fall is around the corner! I especially love fall time because that means cozy/comfy outfits and scarfs!

I wanted to write a blog post on my favorite products for the month of August, so without further a do, here are my favorite products of this month.

IMG_0810.jpgIf you’ve read my previous post you’ll know that I received my first Influenster Voxbox and within that box I got many goodies. My favorite product would have to be the Vera Wang Embrace Rose buds & Vanilla perfume. It is very affordable and smells beautiful. It sort of has that clean/fresh scent which is what I think about when I think of summer.

I’ve always heard that you’re a shade darker in the summer. I didn’t believe it till this year, when I came to realize this hard way. I never realized that I was getting tanner as summer was approaching. I remember looking at myself and getting surprised because of how pale my foundation made me look. I decided that it was time to purchase a new foundation for the summer. I purchased my first Dior product! The Diorskin Nude Air Foundation. This found is amazing and I am so happy I purchased this product. It’s coverage is amazing and it smells beautifully. This product is definitely going to be one of my top favorites for quite a while.

The Mac lipstick ‘Shy Girl’ has been my go to for this whole month. It is a beautiful pinkish/nude creme sheen lipstick and goes perfect with anything. It’s not too over the top and not too natural its the perfect combination!

Whether I am doing a natural look or more of an intense look I always use my Hoola Bronzer Powder by Benefit. I especially love how this product comes with a mirror it is great to toss into your handbag or backpack for emergencies.

The Urban Decay Naked Powder Foundation has been a life saver especially since school has been on going. Whether I am doing a full face or just using the powder foundation it’s been my go to! It’s coverage is amazing, but it does not last long, so it but be reapplied every so often.

My Top Five Favorite Makeup Products

Day 2:

It is day two of my five day blogging challenge, and I decided to write about my top five favortie makeup products.

My obsession with makeup began in the middle school. Most of the girls at my school had already started using makeup. My dad had strict rules when it came to wearing makeup. He thought I was too young and that I didn’t need it. My idea of makeup in middle school is completely different from now.

I use to think makeup was just mascara and lipgloss. I’ve learned now that it is much more than that. I have to give credit to all the makeup gurus on YouTube. If it wasn’t for them I’d probably still be using just mascara and lipgloss. I’ve learned how to contour, highlight, apply eyeshadow, etc. There’s always something new to learn within the makeup world, and new products are always popping up.

These are my current makeup favorites:

Christian Dior Nude Air Foundation: Finding a good foundation was hard enough for me, but this product is amazing! I absolutely love everything about this product. It goes on so smoothly and the coverage is phenomenal! It lasts a long time, especially if used with a primer. I’ve never actually had a foundation that smells good, but this foundation has a uniquely beautiful smell. This foundation is on the pricey side. I believe it can be purchased for fifty dollars. Nonetheless, it is worth every penny if you’re a makeup lover!

Mac #130 Brush: My favorite foundation brush is the Mac #130 brush. It is on the pricey side, but if properly taken care of, this brush will last you a long time. It blends your makeup very well and doesn’t leave it looking all cakey! I purchased this item for forty dollars, but it has last me three years or so!

IMG_0723.jpgMorphe 35N Palette: This palette is my all time favorite. The colors are beautiful and very pigmented. I believe I purchased this palette for twenty dollars. It comes with thirty-five beautiful matte colors. Depending on what look I am going for, like smokey eye or a more neutral look, this palette will do the job.

Revlon Gray Suede Nail Polish #705: I’ve always had trouble finding the perfect nude nail polish. If you’re like me, you’ve probably have gone through several different shades of nude nail polishes to find the right one. I believe, I have found the perfect shade of nude nail polish. The Revlon Gray Suede nail polish is perfect. It’s been my top favorite beauty product for a long time. The price range for this nail polish is about seven dollars, but it will last you a long time.

878BE725-7C69-4D18-8760-746896B18D3B.jpgThe Colossal Volume Express Mascara by Maybelline: Last but not least, my absolutely favorite mascara. This mascara has been my favorite since I can remember. It is only five dollars, but can do the job just like any other high priced mascara out there. This is one product I would definitely recommend to anyone who is a mascara lover!

These are my top five favorite makeup products! I hope you enjoyed reading my post as much as I did writing about it!
