Morning Skincare Routine |Spring 2018

Hello! I hope you all are having a great day today!

I have been obsessing over skincare the last couple of months, whether its products or routines, I’m all over it! I don’t know whether it has anything to do with my age, because I’ve noticed that the majority of people in their early 20s tend to start making/creating their own skincare routines. When I was in high school and even in my early college years I did not care what so ever about skincare! I would even sleep with my makeup on most of the times, which is so BAD!

Today, I am going to show you my favorite products that I have been using/obsessed with these last couple of weeks. I am always adding/removing products from my routine, but at this moment these are the current products I am in love with!

Now this is my morning skincare routine. I do have a night time skincare routine, but we will save that for another day. Lol.

I have been consistent with this routine and my skin has never looked better, so let’s begin!

Foaming Face Wash from Clarity Therapeutics

Every morning, I begin by using this foaming face wash by Clarity Therapeutics. I only use this on my face and no where near my eyes! I only use two pumps, because a little does go a long way with this product!

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes

Next, I use my favorite makeup remover wipes of all time! These are so amazing and I swear by these wipes! They are a little pricey, but what I like to do in order to not waste or spend so much money is to cut my wipes into one thirds, since I don’t need a whole makeup wipe. I mostly use these around my eyes, but I will make sure to run it through my whole face just to make sure I got all the dirt and junk off!

Neutrogena Age Shield Face Sunscreen SPF 110

I then use another Neutrogena product that I have been obsessed with (I have to thank my aunt for introducing  me to this product!). This is their Age Shield Face sunscreen with SPF 110. Now I did spend a pretty penny on this item, I am not going to lie, but a little does go a long way with this product. Not to mention the sun is known to cause wrinkles and make you look older, and if I have to pay extra to avoid that you bet your butt I will. LOL. When I apply this I make sure to completely cover my face and neck with it! Not to mention, I LOVE the way this product smells, reminds me of summer!

Aveeno’s Daily Moisturizing Lotion & Total Moisture Facial Cream from Benefit Cosmetics

I tend to get dry around my chin and mouth area, I have no idea why so I make sure to apply a little of either the Total Moisture Facial Cream form Benefit Cosmetics or Aveeno’s Daily Moisturizing Lotion.

I have been loving both, so that is why I decided to add both of these. I couldn’t choose! Lol. They both do a great job of moisturizing and hydrating my skin!

Face Toner from Clarity Therapeutics

The last item I have been loving for my face is this face toner from Clarity Therapeutics. I know toners are meant to be used right after you cleanse your skin, but this toner make a great makeup primer! I have been using this right before I apply my makeup and I just love it so much! It does a really good job of keeping my makeup on.

Lip Conditioner from MAC

Lastly, for my lips I have been using this lip conditioner from MAC. It leaves my lips feeling so nice and soft! It also gives your lips a shine, kind of like wearing lip gloss!

That is it for my morning skincare routine! I hope you enjoyed reading! I would love to know any products that you are currently using or have been obsessed with. I love trying  out new products, so let me know what items you love so I can try them out!

I would also like to say thank you for 70 subscribers/follows on my blog! I am so appreciative of every single one of you!

As always thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a great week!

Product Review: Zinc Oxide Sunscreen & Organic Lip Balm from Bee You Organics

Hello! I hope everyone is having a great day today and making it a good one!

Lately I have been so obsessed with my skincare products being all-natural. Aside from that I have also been using/obsessed with sunscreen! Every morning, whether I am out in the sun or not, I make sure to apply a layer of sunscreen. Specifically this sunscreen, which contains zinc oxide. This product is from Bee You Organics. They have a variety of natural skincare products and makeup, from natural eyeshadows as well as mascara!

This product is handmade and ingredients include:

-Organic unrefined coconut oil

-Organic sweet almond oil

-Organic beeswax

-Organic unrefined shea butter

-Non nano zinc oxide

-Organic lavender EO

-Organic tea tree EO

The zinc oxide in their sunscreen is stable in sunlight and is shown to provide better coverage from those harsh UVA rays! This sunscreen will hydrate and moisturize your skin while providing sun protection! The best part of about this item is that it is made without all those horrible chemicals!  It is made without GMO’s, fillers, dyes, etc.

This past Easter weekend I spent the majority of time outdoors, and I used this product so much that I am actually running low! Lol. I highly recommend this item. It gave me that sun protection I needed while leaving my skin feeling so hydrated and moisturized. The sun can be so damaging and it is even known to create wrinkles and fasten your appearance of aging.

This item can be purchased from Bee You Organics for $16.99!

They have three different sizes options, which I believe are the perfect size to have in your handbag or backpack for any sun-based activities you may find yourself in.

2 oz Zinc Oxide Sunscreen $11.99

4 oz Zinc Oxide Sunscreen $16.99

8 oz Zinc Oxide Sunscreen $24.99

They also offer a vegan option for all the vegans out there! Rather than using beeswax they use organic carnauba wax!

I also received their organic lip balm. This lip balm will help moisturize, hydrate and even has built in sun protection. They have three options for flavors: lavender, peppermint, and unscented. I received the peppermint flavor and I love how it gives my lips that minty/freshness feeling! This lip balm will moisturize your lips for 24 hours and leave your lips feeling silky soft/smooth! They also offer the vegan option just like their zinc oxide sunscreen!

Bee You Organics can also customize labels for weddings, shops, baby showers, etc. How awesome is that!?

This organic lip balm can be purchased for the affordable price of $2.99! Super worth it if you ask me! Why would you not want silky/smooth lips?!

As always thank you so much for reading! I will leave a link down below so you can check out all of the products Bee You Organics offers.

Have a great week!

Product Review: It’s All Good Cosmetics

Hello! I hope everyone is having a great day and making it a good one!

Today I will be talking about several products from an Etsy store I came across! Lately I have been obsessed with my products being all natural and I believe the perfect place to find homemade/all natural products is from Etsy! The store is called ‘It’s All Good Cosmetics’ and they have a variety of natural products from lip balms to natural deodorants! So let’s get started!

Here we have two homemade lip balms in the flavors mint chocolate and my personal favorite grapefruit! I have never actually seen or had a grapefruit flavor and let me say that it makes a great lip balm flavor!

snapseed.jpg

These lip balms left my lips feeling so hydrated and moisturized! They both contain organic beeswax, Shea butter, organic coconut oil and Vitamin E! Aside from this ingredients the mint chocolate has cocoa powder and jojoba oil and the grapefruit flavor has grapefruit essential oil. There are a variety of flavors to choose from like coffee, vanilla, lavender, lemonade and many more! I have been using these lip balms for a week now and they have left my lips feeling so soft and the amazing smell is a total plus! I especially love that they are long lasting and don’t leave your lips feeling sticky nor too oily, like some other products. The retail price for these lip balms is only $3.00, not bad considering how soft your lips will feel!

Next, we have a soothing stick, which will help to soothe and speed the healing process for any cuts, scrapes, dry patches or bites! I had actually received a paper cut from messing with papers in my backpack and call me crazy, but when I accidentally cut myself I was sort of happy because I was going to be able to test this soothing stick. Lol. Let me say that it indeed did soothe my cut! Not to mention this item is the perfect size to toss in your purse/backpack for emergencies! All the ingredients in this product are organic! It contains coconut oil, beeswax, calendula infused olive oil, neem oil, tea tree, lavender and cypress essential oil! The retail price for this is $4.00.

I am just loving/amazed with this bronzer! Definitely a new favorite of mine! It blends so well! Honestly, I think it blends better than most bronzers I have used before! Not to mention it is all natural! How awesome is that?! It has Shea butter and coconut oil so it will help moisturize your skin. They also have the blush available, I did not try it, but I imagine its just as good! Aside from Shea butter and coconut oil this product also contains beeswax, olive oil, arrowroot powder, zinc oxide (which I’ve heard is so good for your skin), mica powder, cocoa powder and vitamin E! This lovely product can be purchased for $9.95 and I highly recommend for all you bronzer lovers!

I am not a huge fan of applying lotion with my hands only because I don’t like the way it makes my hands feel. Lotion bars are probably the best thing ever created, especially if their all natural like this one!  This lotion bar is a game changer! I now have no excuse to not moisturize my body! I highly recommend! The scent I received is clary sage and it smells so peaceful to me! Did you know clary sage is known as one of the most soothing and relaxing essential oils. This would be perfect after a hot/relaxing shower/bath right before bed! It’s All Good Cosmetics has a variety of scents like lavender, grapefruit, orange peel, peppermint, lemon+peppermint+lavender and of course clary sage, which I highly recommend! This item can be purchased for $5.50, which is so totally worth it in my opinion!

I just love the texture and how this product leaves my under eyes feeling. This eye cream has tons of benefits! It helps tone/life skin, reduce appearance of scars/acne and heals wounds! This item has Shea butter, coconut oil, aloe gel, myrrh, carrot seed essential oils, vitamin E and Frankincense. Did you know Frankincense has the ability to strengthen skin, improve its tone/elasticity, get rid of blemishes, and it has a great defense mechanism against bacteria. It can also be used to get rid of stretch marks, surgery scars, and its great for healing dry/cracked skin. The retail price for this item is $9.50!

I have been using this lip gloss since I received it and i absolutely love it! It gave my lips that shimmer they deserve! It naturally plumps your lips, while moisturizing them. They’re available in 2 scents, which is peppermint, lavender and unscented for those who like unscented lip gloss. This item contains castor oil, beeswax, Shea butter, cocoa powder, jojoba oil, olive oil with calendula flower, mica powder, vitamin E and of course lavender essential oil. This item is perfect for an everyday look and for only $5.00 it’s a total steal!

This deodorant is all natural and contains ingredients like coconut oil, baking soda, arrowroot powder and essential oils. It has a lemon/lime/tea tree scent, which smells so good and clean! There are two sizes available for this product which are 75ml for $10 and their travel size deodorant (15ml) for $4.00! If you’re sensitive to baking soda they offer deodorants without baking soda for those individuals who have sensitive skin. I used this item for a week and it works so well! It lasted all day long and did not leave any white marks on my black shirts, which a lot of other deodorants tend to do! This deodorant lasts around 18-20 hours, which is really impressive for only using all natural products!

Last, but not least this amazing moisturizing serum! This smells too good and left my skin feeling so nice! It has Argan oil, rosechip seed oil, frankincense, lavender, geranium, carrot seed, lemon, rosemary, and essential oils. This serum will moisturize, nourish and rejuvenate your skin. It can also be used to help reduce acne blemishes, the appearance of large pores, prevent wrinkles, it will help lift and tighten skin, and naturally slows signs of aging. A little goes a long way with this product, I highly recommend using this item after a hot shower/before bed every night. I used it for a week and I noticed that my skin started looking and feeling more nourished and hydrated.

Overall, I highly recommend checking out ‘It’s All Good Cosmetics’ they have a variety of natural products that work so well!

As always, thank you so much for reading! I will leave a link so you guys can check out these awesome products!

Product review | Organic Rose Water from Farm House Traditions

Hello! I hope everyone is having a great day and making it a good one!

Today I’m going to be reviewing this cute looking product!

This product is pure and natural organic rose water from an Etsy store I came across called Farm House Traditions. They sell a variety of natural products like body balm, skin balancing facial toners and of course their organic rose water!

I initially knew that rose water was good for moisturizing your skin, but I never knew that there were so many other benefits to using this product. Aside from smelling so beautiful there are tons of benefits like adding shine, getting rid of frizzy hair and it can also be used a toner.

I used this item before bed and I loved the way it left my face feeling. My face was so hydrated and moisturized from using this product.

I found out that rose water can actually help maintain your skins pH balance! Who would’ve thought! It can also relieve acne, eczema and dermatitis. I guess it shouldn’t come to shock since the rose is a beautiful flower!

Here are some other benefits this organic rose water can do for you!

-can be used on clean damp hair to help reduce frizz and add shine

-used as a facial toner to tighten pores and tone skin

-helps maintain skins pH balance

-can help fight acne, eczema and dermatitis

-moisturize and hydrate your skin

-antioxidant properties to help regenerate skin cells and tissue

-can be used as a light fragrance for your skin

This item can be purchased from Farm House Traditions for only $8.00! Definitely not a bad price for all the benefits this product offers. This item was shipped and received so fast and it also came in super cute pink packaging! My favorite part of all was the handwritten letter from the owner herself, so thoughtful!

I definitely recommend this item and if you haven’t used organic rose water what are you waiting for!? Lol.

I also received a sample of their organic raw African black soap with activated charcoal! This item is perfect for removing makeup without stripping your skin and also helps remove scars cause by acne!

I definitely recommend checking these items out. I will leave a link so you can check out their site and see all the natural items this store has to offer!

As always thank you so much for reading and have a great weekend!

Influenster Voxbox: Gillette Venus Platinum Razor

Hello! I hope everyone is having an amazing day and making it a good one!

I was recently accepted into another Influenster campaign, which means free stuff! Yay! Lol. This time I was accepted into the Gillette Venus Platinum Voxbox! I was chosen to review their Platinum Razor, it has advanced blade technology, a metal handle, and 360° ribbon of moisture.

Is it weird that I’m excited to receive a free razor? Lol.

This razor had a 5 diamond-like coated blades designed to stay sharper during more shaves, for skin that feels extra smooth! The metal handle is shaped for greater control, including anti-slip texture designed for a better grip in wet conditions. Since this product has a metal handle there’s no need to toss out the whole thing! You can simply replace the razor cartridge, which is so awesome! What I love most about this product is that the premium glide technology completely surrounds the blades and releases lubricants when activated by water for enhanced comfort, glide and protection!

This razor has left my legs feeling so soft and smooth. The 5 blades helped remove all the left hair in one stroke, which means less time spent shaving and smoother legs! The retail price for this item is $8.99, a little on the pricey side but definitely worth the extra money! I’m absolutely loving this product and definitely recommend if you’re looking for a razor to get the job done!

As always thank you so much for reading and have a great day!

I received this item complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

What’s in My Purse?!

Hello and happy Thursday!

Today I want to show you what’s in my purse! I love watching ‘What’s in My Purse?’ videos on YouTube, so I decided I would write a blog post on it!

So let’s begin!

IMG_3495.jpg

I have the large Michael Kors tote bag. It’s my favorite especially since I am always carrying tons of things. I decided to get this color combination, because it matches with both brown and black outfits.

IMG_3498.jpg

I also got the matching wallet with the purse! I actually got these two items for my birthday two and half years ago!

IMG_3502.jpg

I always carry a body spray, whether it’s in my purse or backpack. This is the travel size Night fragrance mist by Victoria’s Secret. It smells so good! Because of its ‘strong’ fragrance, I highly recommend this body spray as your go-to during a night out. The item retails at just $15, and are often sold as a “buy one, get one free” promotion. Cheap, and easy to carry? Definitely a must!

IMG_3503.jpg

Now, we move onto one of the more ‘unusual’ items found in my purse. Being that it’s a tote bag, why not let it double as a backpack as well?! At the moment, I’m carrying along the book Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. For all you bookworms out there, this is a classic I highly suggest!

IMG_3507.jpg

If you’re going to call South Texas home, sunglasses are a must! My absolute favorite sunglasses are these Ray Bans. I’ve had these going on five years now, which speaks volumes regarding their durability! They’re the aviator sunglasses, with the gold rim. I paid upwards of $150 for these, but times change, and lucky for you, they’re online at retail for only $125 now.

IMG_3509.jpg

I have my ‘All I need is coffee and mascara’ journal. I actually won this at a baby shower and it has been so helpful! I am always scribbling in there, whether it’s my to do list or a blog post idea. It comes really in handy!

IMG_3510.jpg

With so many things going on in our day-to-day lives, it’s easy to forget a pre-aranged appointment or school assignment. Cue the handy planner. Since I am going to school this semester I’m always planning out me weeks and assignments that I have to do. Very convenient to carry in my purse! (Yes, I know, 2017 is long gone. So time for an update!)

For makeup in my purse I do have quite a few products.

IMG_3513.jpg

I have the Urban Decay Powder. I’m always carrying it around for little touch ups.

IMG_3516.jpg

I have this cute double mirror also from Urban Decay. I received this item for free and I use it almost every single day!

IMG_3520.jpg

I have a Nars lipstick its the shade ‘Orgasm’. I also received this item for free! It’s a light shimmer pink! Super cute!

IMG_3523.jpg

I also have one of my favorite mascaras from Benefit Cosmetics! I am always carrying it in cast of emergencies!

IMG_3527.jpg

I have a hair clip in here. As much as I love having my hair down I prefer my hair out of my face when I’m doing certain activities like studying or working out.

IMG_3515.jpg

I am always hungry! Lol. I make sure to carry some type of snack in my purse. These are some biscuit from Belvita. They are my favorite and super delicious/nutritious.

That is it for What’s in my Purse I hope you enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed showing you my things!

Thanks for reading!

Outfit of The Day: January 19, 2018

Hello and happy Tuesday!

Today I have another outfit of the day or OOTD to show you! Just like last time this one is also going to be a gym version attire.

So to begin I decided to curl my hair for the pictures, but as soon as I get to the gym these curls are sadly going up into a bun.

I am wearing this red pull over. Its thin enough to workout in and it sort of has that distressed look which I like.

I am wearing some black tights from the brand BCG, which if you had read my previous OOTD post you would know its one of my favorite brands because of how affordable it is.

I am also wearing my favorite Nike shoes these have the rose gold/metallicy Nike symbol, which I think are so cute!

I also had my LG wireless headphones, but I did not get a picture of them. I absolutely love listening to music when I workout and I am not a huge fan of headphones with wires hence my wireless headphones. Lol

Lastly I am wearing my Fitbit Alta, which I love. I am obsessed with counting my steps and seeing how many steps I can put in a day!

Well I hope you enjoyed reading my OOTD and I hope you make the rest of this week a great one!

What I got for Christmas!

Hello and happy Monday!

I hope everyone started the week on a good note!

I know Christmas is over and has been over for about two weeks already, but I wanted to show you what I got for Christmas!

So let’s begin!

I am a huge Starbucks fan. I practically spend my whole time there, whether I am in school or during the break. Most of my family knows this by now, so I received a Starbucks gift card from one of my aunts, which I already used.

IMG_3085.jpg

I received this cute Christmas wine glass from one of my cousins. I put it to use once I received it. Lol.

IMG_3225.jpg

I also received this awesome ColourPop Palette, which I plan on doing a review on! Fingers crossed!

IMG_3215.jpg

I received this cute Nautica pajama set from my boyfriend’s mom. It’s a light baby blue color with tons of snowflakes. Perfect for the winter! They are so comfy and I’m a huge fan of pajamas sets!

IMG_3214.jpg

I also received one of my favorite body sprays from my little sister! Its the perfect size since I usually like carrying body mists in my purse for emergencies! It was a gift bundle which came with a body spray and a hand cream!

From my parents I received a two hundred dollar gift card from Academy Sports + Outdoors. With that I was able to purchase a good amount of clothes! I mostly bought workout clothes, because I was in need of new gym attire.

IMG_3222.jpg

I love the brand BCG, because their clothes is super affordable and comfortable. I got this cute BCG gray workout shirt. I believe I purchased this item for $12.99. I also purchased some black tights, which I actually wrote about in my last OOTD blog post. The last BCG item I purchased was this gray sports bra. I have never purchased their bras before and I was so surprised when I first used it. Definitely my new favorite bra.

I am a huge shoe lover of course, so I had to purchase some shoes! I was able to purchase two gorgeous pairs of shoes!

IMG_3218 2.jpg

I purchased these light gray with the metallic Nike symbol. I had actually seen these shoes when I was out of town, but they sadly did not have my shoe size. I had to wait till I got home to purchase them.

IMG_3162.jpg

Last but not least these gorgeous shoes! I had been wanting some white converse for the longest time. I was always so afraid of purchasing white shoes, because of the fact that they get dirty easily. I finally decided to go for it and bought them, and I am so glad I purchased them! They are my favorite shoes at the moment.

So that is it for what I got for Christmas. I hope you enjoyed reading, and like always, make this week a great week!

OOTD | Gym Outfit

Hello and happy Wednesday!

Today I wanted to quickly show you one of my outfits for the gym.

For todays gym session I have my favorite Columbia jacket. I feel like this jacket is a little too thick to workout out in, so I usually take it off once I get to the gym.

IMG_3052.jpg

I also have one of my favorite gray Nike Dri-fit long sleeve. I purchased this item at Academy Sports + Outdoors for about $50. I love this item because it fits well and is so comfy!

IMG_3059.jpg

I love listening to music while working out, so I use my LG wireless headphones. I received these as a Christmas gift last year and I use them every time I workout. I love them because I’m the type of person who hates using headphones especially when the cords get in the way. I feel like its just an accident waiting to happen, especially when doing cardio!

I also have my Fitbit Alta on, which is awesome cause I’m able to track my steps, which I enjoy doing! It helps me stay active and it just looks cool!

I have some black BCG tights on. Their tights are my absolute favorite because they are super affordable and look like every other black tights out there without breaking your wallet. I purchased these for $12.99, which is an awesome deal if you ask me!

IMG_3055.jpg

Last but not least I have my black Nike Pegasus shoes that I have owned for over two years!

I hope you enjoyed reading this quick OOTD and have a great day!

Christmas Shopping Haul

Hello and happy Thursday! I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays!

Before Christmas I did a little shopping for some presents! I am definitely going to shop ahead of time next year. All the stores were crazy packed!

IMG_3019.jpg

The first store I went to was Victoria’s Secret and that store was excessively packed. I was quite amazed how they didn’t run out of stuff. I was especially amazed at the workers there, and their ability to deal with so many people.

IMG_3015.jpg

This year I wanted to get my aunts and older female cousins gifts. I never get them anything, so I wanted to do something nice for them. At Victoria’s Secret they had a fragrance/mist special. Usually their mists are about $18 each and I was able to get them for $6 each! I purchased not one, not two, but ten of their fragrances for only $60. At regular price I would’ve paid $180 for all ten fragrances, which is ridiculously expensive for me! Thank goodness for their promotions!

I also purchased two of their travel size fragrances for the price of one! All in all, I saved a total of $195, which is kind of a bargain if you ask me!

IMG_3020.jpg

Since I did spend over $75 I was lucky enough to receive a free tote! The retail price for this cute tote was $58, and I was able to get it for free! I also think the tote would make a cute christmas gift.

The next store I went to was Old Navy. I haven’t been to Old Navy in the longest time, but since I had heard an awesome promotion that they were having I decided to give it a go!

I purchased a really cute long sleeve for my cousin. The retail price for the long sleeve was $14.99 and I was able to get it only for $6! I also got two items for my boyfriend. He had told me that he had been wanting an army green sweater. I was so luck to find the perfect sweater for him, especially since it was the only one left in his size. The retail price for this sweater was $30 and I was able to get it for $10! Lately he has also really been into flannels so I also got him a flannel.

All in all I saved around $51 for these three items!

I then went to the dollar tree to buy a little bit of stuff for the goodie bags that I had planned. I really love the dollar tree when it comes to holidays/birthdays because they sell awesome decorations/knick knacks for a really affordable price!

The last place I went to was Ulta! I absolutely love this store, because they have pretty much all beauty products whether they’re sold at Sephora or at a grocery store. I only got two items from this place and they were not gifts for anyone. I was actually in need of these products.

IMG_3033.jpg

I purchased the Batiste dry shampoo. This is actually the first time I purchased this item and I am hoping I will like it. I also purchased some beauty rounds. I tend to use these to apply my concealer.

That is it for my shopping haul. I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed shopping for these items! Have a great day and happy holidays!
