Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette Review

Hello everyone!

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone is having a great/productive day!

Today I decided to dedicate a blog post to swatching/reviewing the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette!

This was my first time swatching and I really enjoyed it! It was pretty messy, but definitely worth it.

Before I did this I never really payed much attention to the detail within the shades. Having done these swatches made me really appreciate the beauty of the colors within this palette.

So without further a do, here are my swatches/review!

The palette has twelve beautiful colors! Nine shimmer shades and three matte colors. From left to right they are: Foxy, Half Baked, Bootycall, Chopper, Tease, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted, and Blackout. The palette also comes with a mirror and a double sided eyeshadow brush.

I tend to use the both of the brushes when applying my makeup. I use the smaller brush (photo above) for applying the product and the bigger brush (photo below) for blending.

Everything about this product is gorgeous; the packaging, the different shades, it’s a great size and the pigmentation of the colors are fabulous!

I did have quite a bit of trouble showing the Foxy shade (first shade) mostly because it is a light creme color. The nine shimmer shades just glided on my skin I had absolutely no trouble applying those colors. They are very pigmented and apply beautiful.

My favorite shades would have to be Busted and Pistol. Those shades are gorgeous especially since fall is around the corner!

This palette is perfect for anyone, whether you’re a professional or you’re barely learning how to apply eyeshadow. You can do either a natural look or go for a more intense look when using this palette.

I believe this palette could be purchased at Sephora, Ulta or at Macy’s. It can be purchased for around fifty dollars. I know it’s a little but on the pricey side, but a little does go a long way. I’ve had this palette for about two years now, so it does last quite a while!

Overall, the colors are gorgeous and I hope you enjoyed me babbling on about this palette!
